Who's behind The Catalyst

I'm Kyle. I've been trading for 7 years, and for most of that time I focused on one thing: catalyst-driven moves — the gaps, earnings surprises, and news events that fundamentally change how the market prices a stock.

Early on, I kept taking trades I couldn't explain. I had reasons for each one, but the reasons weren't consistent. So I started tracking everything. Every gap, every catalyst, every characteristic, every outcome. That tracking became a database of 28,000+ historical events — and that database changed how I trade.

What the data taught me is simple: the money is made by being selective. A handful of exceptional opportunities each year matter more than hundreds of average ones. The Catalyst exists to teach that process — how to find the best setups, how to size them, and how to have the patience to wait for them.

This isn't a signal service, and I'm not trying to be a guru. I trade my own account, I share my full process, and I answer questions directly. If you want to learn a repeatable, data-driven approach without being glued to your screens all day, you're in the right place.
